Christian home businesses are perfect targets for scam artists and the basic scum of the earth. Look around, everyone seems to be offering Christians home based business opportunities. These scum suckers prey on the good nature of Christians and others alike.
Check out any offer for Christian home businesses. If someone tries to pressure you into a hasty decision, slow down and do your research first. Find out what other Christians are saying about this opportunity first. Look for a company that is grounded in Christian principles. Pray about it.
From my perspective, isn't any opportunity Christian based if it is your business? The great thing about network marketing is the freedoms that you get to do things your way. If you base your life on Christian fundamentals then anything you do should be a reflection there of. Whether the company you are promoting is Christian owned or not.
There are many opportunities out there for Christians that may or may not be Christian home businesses but like I said, it is what you make it. If you choose to lead your team or simply follow your leader, it doesn't matter, as long as you stick to your fundamentals. You'll be surprised what can happen if you just believe in yourself and your faith.
When my wife passed away 4 years ago shortly after giving birth to our son I wanted to just walk away from God and my faith. It was a very trying time and I just couldn't understand how a merciful God could let this happen to another who was in constant service for the Lord. No matter what was asked of her, she was there to help out, and then poof she was gone. This was not the God I prayed to.
It's only now that I came to understand what had happened. It was simply her time. She was called home early. Life must go on. The days were dark for quite a while but then one day a bright light walked into my life that shook me like no other. Here was a woman who had already raised her family and now was offering herself to me and my family without compromise. An angel sent from above to help heal my wounds and provide love and comfort I had never felt before. My one true sole mate had entered into my life and absolutely took my breath away. On January 12th, 2008 we were married in front of all of our family and friends with God smiling down on us all.
Once again folks, I don't believe that we must seek out specifically a Christian home based business but rather make our home based business Christian. Even though my wife and I have chosen one, GBG, there are many other opportunities out there that you can make your own. Research, pray, research, pray. That's my advice, for what it's worth.
